Hey there, I'm Sumantra Chattopadhyay. I’m an Analyst at MetLife Investment Management in the Real Estate Investments group, focusing on the US northeast markets. I co-founded and am Principal Consultant at EduLytics Consulting, providing data-driven solutions for K-12 schools.
I am a former Presidential Scholar, Honors College Scholar, Matthew Leydt Society Member, and summa cum laude graduate of Rutgers Business School (Class of 2022), where I completed a dual degree in Finance (B.S.) and Economics (B.A.).
I'm interested in investment management, particularly in private markets investing, as well as K-12 education. I am a proud Eagle Scout (Class of 2017) who believes in youth empowerment and giving back to the organization (Boy Scouts of America) that gave me so much. As an Assistant Scoutmaster with my Boy Scout Troop 113, I mentor Scouts in our Troop and help them along their Trail to Eagle. As a regular volunteer at my Council's camp (Camp Somers at the Mt. Allamuchy Scout Reservation), I provide personalized instruction for Eagle Scout-required merit badges and also mentor Scouts.
Having a passion for helping others, I hope to create sustainable solutions for the financial and strategic problems of individuals, organizations, and communities to help them reach their full potential by using the power of business, analysis, and problem-solving.
